No kidney damage according to the tests (yay!) But we have to watch him carefully for the next few days/few weeks to make sure he doesn't re-obstruct.

Btw, giving a cat medicine is a license to be clawed, bitten and drooled upon. (and chasing down the pill that got drooled out and into the litterbox...ewww).
